Dallas –
Company seeking candidates for more than 100 open positions
As thousands of men and women prepare to transition out of the military and into civilian life, Luminant is helping them take that first step.
This Wednesday, Feb. 3, Luminant will participate in Fort Hood’s semi-annual Army Career & Alumni Program Center Job Fair. With more than 100 openings, ranging from maintenance and electrician positions to supervisory roles, Luminant recruiters will spend the day meeting with thousands of potential candidates nearing the end of their military service.
“We are incredibly grateful to our military men and women for their service to our country and agree with our leaders in Washington on the importance of providing our support,” said Kim Koonce, Luminant chief human resources officer. “Luminant has a strong history of hiring veterans – in fact, their diverse skill sets and strong on-the-job experiences are among the reasons why nearly 13 percent of our current workforce is comprised of veterans.”
